I'm highly inspired by the smallest things. I love race shirts. I can honestly say, I sign up for races because they work as a carrot dangling in front of me. I know I have to keep up my training in order to finish a race with dignity & without injury. However, there's a sick, twisted part of me that simply wants the shirt affiliated with each event. I know. It's an illness. I've also learned that I'm a sucker for shirts with funny running related sayings. I blame race expos for this. My three favorites are listed below. I don't own any of these shirts....yet.

It's just about the funniest thing EVER. If you only knew what it's like to run with me. My husband cracks a joke about the Garmin nearly every time we run. He finds my Garmin obsession highly annoying. I won't start running until I have satellites. It's set on auto pause in case I have to stop to tie a shoe (or whatever). LOVE the Garmin shirt. There's also one that says "I'm running my mass off." Need that one. I'm getting one for the Warrior Dash that says "This seemed like a good idea 3 months ago." LOL So true.

ReplyDeleteThere was one at the Portland Marathon expo that said "I know! I said I'd never do this again." lol I say "never again" every time. Then I go home & get over it.
Also, the one that says, "Who moved the finish line?" really cracks me up.
